Smoking a pork shoulder right now. 40 minutes in, 3:32am local time. Weber, lump charcoal, humidity = equal parts cider vinegar, water, beer plus some surplus whole oregano. Smoking wood is apple, fist sized chunks. 10 pounder, boneless unfortunately but was barely $40 for 15 lbs (5 lbs frozen), which is as good as it gets right now, bone in for some gay reason had a premium. Tied together with butcher’s twine, equal parts brown sugar and paprika, about 1/4 part apiece garlic powder and onion powder. Sea salt and black and white pepper before the rub.

Maybe smoked pork shoulder. Then again, I’m sitting outside in a beautiful night at 3:20am drinking shitty beer, shitposting on /ck/, and making sure the Weber stays pegged at 350, so maybe it’s not worse, it just gives you an excuse to do what you wanted to anyways.
