Weirdly enough, wholesale cost of eggs and bacon is 2.28 for a dozen/pound respectively (US wholesale and most expensive price point, via Google)

Breakfast spots I worked at tended to have maybe 10 dozen eggs or so and maybe 170 slices of bacon (real rough estimate on the bacon) ready for a normal brunch shift with a slice being about an oz each for about 47.04. With average restaurant markup being 300%, that's 141.12 bucks for there whole stock of what they expected to sell in just eggs and bacon that day. Add a 15% tip for the waiter who has to deal with your cringey ass, you come out at $162.29.
