I am going to make some old country food, but I need some advice (pic related). Should I used minced beef? If so should it be 80/20 or 93/7?

I was thinking that minced pork would be pretty good too?

Any anons have any advice?

I usually use macaroni, but I am wondering if there is a better pasta to use? Also, has anyone experimented with a goulash bake? What temp, how long, which cheese did you top it with?

What is /ck/'s opinion on American-style ghoulash? I find it very hardy and filing and also easy to make, which is great.

I make it a bit differently than shown in this picture, however. Boiled macaroni, browned ground hamburger, onions, and a can of tomato soup.
