Due to this sugar craving, whites usually put sweet things in dishes that seem completely unnecessary to the other races of man. IE: raisins in salad, extremely sweet diabetes-tier BBQ sauce, mango pineapple "chutney", etc.

The other reason is of course a total lack of spices and gastronomic/olfactory adaptation to such compounds.
