Kinda true, but not really.

There are a great many cheeses you cannot get in the US because of a Federal law banning the import of unpasteurized cheeses aged less than 60 days.

Also, I am fortunate enough to live near a very good cheese shop here in the US. Well, very good by US standards. But compared to a low tier cheese shop in a small European city it's nowhere near as good.

If anyone knows where to find pic related type of cheese shop in the US then please advise.

>What the fuck southerners that's disgusting.

What the fuck did you expect from a cheese product that came in a jar and wasn't refrigerated?

Here's an easy way to tell.

Shit cheese comes in a package with brand names on it, like OP pic. If it's pre-sliced or pre-shredded, it's shit.

Good cheese comes from a shop that looks like pic related. You ask what you want they'll cut it for you.

I'll be happy to suggest specifics but you need to narrow things down a bit. What kind of sandwiches do you want to make?

Meh, I'd rather have a proper cheese shop. Expert advice, free taste tests for anything you ask for, and access to cheeses that you simply can't find at a supermarket stocking mass-produced cheeses.
