being Dominican means you eat this 5 times a week at lunch.
Meat varies but tends to be mostly fucking stewed chicken.
add avocados and tostones /fried ripe plantain and that's pretty much it.

Oh and salad consisting of lettuce, tomato and cabbage.

it ain't bad, my mom is very good at cooking dominican food, but don't let her cook anything else because she will bastardize it and not use a fucking recipe even if her life depended on it.
I'm not saying it would taste bad, but it would just not be what it was supposed to be.
