Because its been many years since I've watched it, it WAS Flay that got his ass handed to him on Iron Chef after he stood up on top of his station and acted like an ape, right?

Currently downloading all seasons of Iron Chef (original series).

What are your favorite cooking shows? And better yet, which ones do you hate the most? I'm looking for other stuff to watch and would like to learn more about cooking.

this has proven to be quite difficult to find. im looking for shows of the original iron chef, but none are to be found from illegal torrents all the way to online dvd stores and amazon. i've already started a thread on /r/, but to no success there either. anybody have a clue where i can obtain Iron Chef, whether paid or for free?

Sup /ck/ I'm looking for something NEW and INTERESTING for dinner tonight. Preferably something that is good for left overs.

I'm open to anything really. I prefer chicken/vegetarian and cheap, but I'm flexible.

I don't have a lot of kitchen gadgets (no mixer, food processor, pressure cooker, infrared thermometer, etc...)

I just bought a nice bunch of brussel sprouts and I've got some bacon ends, so let's start with that.

The beauty of it is that so many things can be made from those few things. I'd add Avocado to the list if you're feeling fancy, make your own guacamole. And your own tortilla chips, if you're up for it.

I like to make quesadillas out of nearly everything. Just put that thing in a skillet with some cheese, dice up some of the tomatoes/onion/peppers and throw that in there. Add the ground beef if you'd like.

Tortilla soup is amazing when you're sick or on a cold day. Hell, it's great any time. Super easy to make too.

And for dessert - hell, try some sopapillas! Hot dicks tortillas are great!

As for wraps, something I like to do is grill up a few chicken breasts and put them in the fridge, then whenever I feel like it just take one out, slice it up, and wrap it in a tortilla with diced tomato, lettuce, and some kind of dressing. Usually ranch or bleu cheese. It's quick, tasty, cheap, and requires almost zero effort.
