what is a good cut of pork to use in split pea soup?
i've been using a hock or neck boiled for the duration for flavor, disposing of it afterwards since there's no real meat on them.
do you just add chopped ham? do you cook it in, or add it near the end?

I know it's in curry, but I never really had a curry where the Turmeric shone through because there are so many other spices. I guess I need to pump those numbers up because I see now there's a lot of recipes online for "Turmeric Curry" that have a ton of it in comparison to the other spices.
