What's the verdict on Moka pots?
Good? Bullshit?
Usable on an electric stove?

bought into the moka pot meme just last week.

similar but chinese knock off brand 3 cup one, when I got home with my bag of coffee grounds I quickly realised they were in fact whole beans, so now I also have a coffee grinder worth twice as much as the combined cost of the pot, milk throther, fancy pour cup, coffee and two new mugs.

holy shit though, freshly ground coffee is amazing, just so much flavour, like not just coffee, it's like you can taste everything from the earth it was grown in to the dew on the leafs.

I would like to make a shared lunch that will blow someone's mind with how chic and continental I am.

What kind of lunch would that be?

I'm going to be boring and pre-empt replies like "frootloops lol" by making some preliminary suggestions:
-espresso made with one of those bialetti things. Maybe served in glass. Then again, I like the contrast with white cups.
-fresh croissants from the bakery

But so far that just sounds like a barebones continental breakfast. How do I flesh this fancy lunch out?
