Is it normal to find yourself hating sandwiches and eating with your hands (minus pizza) disgusting?

Even though I'm 20 years old, I find myself just hating sandwiches, even when seeing the sandwich artist put the bread down on a wooden table knowing that there are maybe also 4,000x as many germs that I would find on a school desk or toilet.

Maybe its just me, but I've been growing dainty from eating foods at my school cafeteria. So many foods are just disgusting that they're unappealing to me; fried foods, french fries, oriental/rice, etc. even the salads are unappealing to me (and I hate salads for a fact).

Pizza I could still tolerate but obviously not from the cafeteria. They even show the nutrition facts of their special and sometimes the sodium content rises to about half of the required sodium amount which is just screaming death-sentence tier.

Of course, when it comes to drinks and sugar itself, obviously I stay away from that, but more times than not when I get an XL cookie that I just microwave it and eat the chocolate chip bits. I can't get a bottle of tea because the meal plan limits the drinks to only bottled waters and drinks from the fountain (in which some students drink the fizz and put their drinks back to refill).

I know I can cook for myself and should cook, but really, I'm told by my mom to save my money often and I know what's important to eat. I've cut out red meat and lots of other bad foods just so you know, so my main proteins are mainly chicken and fish (though don't get me started on the fish and whether or not its farmed)

oddly enough, mozzarella sticks count as a main from where I'm eat (compared to arbys and TGIF where they're a side). The portions may as well be concentration-camp tier. Yet even prisoners are well feed moreso than college students, ironically enough...
