Does anyone ever actually feel hungry enough to eat TWELVE eggs? Why not just sell them in twos and threes instead?

Does anyone ever feel hungry enough for an entire carton of eggs? I usually just eat 2 or 3 and then have to throw the rest out. I saving the other eggs and then reheating them in the microwave, but they end up tasting rubbery. Is there a place where I can buy eggs by the double or triple instead of by the dozen?
