That young guy is a fucking douche. At least the old heads recognize that Chinese and American have different tastes, so of course it's Americanized.
I know a lot of American Chinese (mostly second gen) people but not one who is above shitty 3am chinese spot in the hood food.
Also I've worked at places that do real Chinese, don't act elitist about chicken assholes in MSG. Nothing against MSG, shit is magic.
