It does not get better. When I lived in a bigger city, I was literally a stone's throw away form a gas station where I bought beer. It was on the way home from work, so I always stopped and got an 18 pack of peebr nearly every night. One day the guys said "just the pbr," to which I replied "yeah." He just said "of course."

I couldn't even be upset because it was my life. Shit job, get beer, chug as much as I could, pass out, rinse and repeat. You can turn things around, bro.
