I need to get some a few decent knives, all I've got right now is one (basically destroyed) cusinart chef's knife and a bunch of dangerously dull ceramic knives my roommates use.
Are chinese cleavers a meme or are they actually good as all-purpose knives?
Y'all niggas got any favored knife styles or brands?

Also what's the proper grit stepping if I want to get some sharpening stones?
