I usually make instant coffee because I'm poor.

Girlfriend just got a job at Starbucks. She doesn't like coffee that isn't 90% sugar. She's giving me the free bag of beans they get every week. What tools do I need to buy to put this to best use? I know the phrase "french press". I think it presses beans probably.

My buddy gave me a man made of tape. As in he covered someone in tape, cut them out of it, and pasted it together again to make a man out of tape.

For some reason I cut off its hand and made soup out of it. I made a very basic vegetable stock and added the tape hand, whole. I drank a bowl of it and my mouth tasted like plastic and glue for months. I'm sure it gave me cancer. I was about 15 and still don't know why I did it.

Isn't mushroom hunting dangerous? A lot of horror stories about people dying from poisoned mushrooms that look edible.

Mum gave me a little tea thing for Christmas. It's one of those things that drain out the bottom after you make the tea. I think it's mostly meant for tea leaves.

Where can I get cheap/nice tea leaves? Bags are so much cheaper but the sample leaves that came with it where really nice. I live in Toronto if anyone knows specific places.

I want to do some indoor gardening in a small space. What are some very easy to grow veggies/herbs I can grow with just a lamp/room light and a pot? I'm thinking maybe potatos or something?
I don't really care how efficient it is. I just want to eat something I grew myself.

Moving soon and I want to get some new kitchen shit, coffee set up is on the list.
Been using shitty cheap instant coffee just for the wake up, ignoring flavor. How much more expensive is using actually not-garbage? I'd be totally willing to invest a bit in a nice set up but I'm worried about continued cost for grounds and such.
