Different Anon here. To this day I literally have to explain to my parents that the little bits of (er, lymph/heme/whatever) the bits of juice that congeal and eventually form fond from which epic sauce can be made if you actually finish the cooking process... are not fat.

And don't even get me started on how they react when I come home and steal a spoonful of actual flavor from the pan and put it on my potatoes instead of "healthy" margarine.
