>put liver in a bowl and cover it with milk
>keep it for 2-3 hours
>sautee a few sliced onions in butter on medium-high heat until golden
>drain the milk, pat the liver dry with a paper towel and cover it with flour
>remove the cooked onions from the pan, add more butter and let it foam
>shake liver slices to remove excess flour, place them in the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes per side depending on the thickness (it should still be pink on the inside)
