i know this thread is probably bait or whatever, but the ONLY drive-thru restaurant that i've ever been to where they try to make small talk is Burger King

this happened over the course of like 5 years and maybe 8 or so visits? new employees each time, too

visit 1

those are the ones i remember most vividly. i wanted to claw my eyes out. i went home each time and had a very angry fap.
