supposedly they changed the burrs in the filtro and crono to be better suited for brewed coffee instead of espresso. Mine shipped from Seattle coffee gear and I might email them to confirm. I paid 250 on Amazon. But yeah the crono is basically a filtro but I didn't like the fact that you had to hold the button on the side to get it to grind all your beans so I shelled out an extra 50.
Haven't made coffee with it yet but you can tell it's much higher build quality than anything else in this price range.
