I made some fried rice today, curious how y'all do. Normally I sautee old rice and veggies in whatever oil I feel like (olive today), then I add in hoisin and soy sauce and mix before letting it heat again, then I fry eggs and mix that in too.

Today I added Aji Mirin as well, and the main thing I noticed was that it all was much "stickier" meaning the elements clumped together much better, you could eat it as pieces with chopsticks much more easily. Otherwise it tasted about the same. Wondering if I should change anything, I don't ever use spices beyond black pepper and the salt/flavors in the sauces.

Y'all can chat it up about what you cooked lately as well. Ask for advice or improvements I figure.

Is an AeroPress really a good choice for coffee?
I've heard using it with a metal filter makes the best cup without having to go "hardcore", as someone put it.
