Hipster communities have genuinely good asian/ramen/sushi/pok or street tacos or just weird tacos with unusual stuff in them
craft burger joints everywhere
so many local breweries, some are actually good
some places are into their German colonial heritage with beer and meat
annual state fair has the most absurd collection of fried foods on the planet (see pic)

its Texas so generally lower taxes and relatively low living costs
