Give me the scoop on "pre-diabetes" I want to know more about it (and yes, I'm doing my own internet research, but answers from anonymous people feels more personal than a bunch of articles that say differing things).

I was recently diagnosed with it with a Hemoglobin A1C level of 5.8%.

If I lower back to the normal ranges (between 4.8 to 5.6), will I be cured or will the "pre-diabetes" just go dormant?
