Horse shit. Like Aurellio's was brought up in this thread, Aurellio's at no point ever referred to their thin crust as "Chicago pizza" like a Chicago dog. This was something invented due to exactly what OP talks about. Here's there menu for their South Loop location, it says thin crust, you lying nigger.
