bad bait.

>-- Compared to sunflower oil it cannot be heated as high
You use different oils for different things. Volatile oils aren't meant for deep frying you lardo.
>-- The taste is definitely acquired
True, particularly with a child's palate
>-- you can replace olive oil in most recipes and it tastes the same. Pizza dough with sunflower oil tastes the same as one made with olive oil.
Objectively untrue. Get a better tongue.
>-- very expensive
Only completely valid point. Much like champagne or san marzano tomatoes, the pedigree surrounding certain olive oils is overhyped. It's great oil, but there are plenty of great oils produced elsewhere for much lower prices
>-- it degrades when exposed to light
Do you live out in the Serengeti or something? Are you too poor for a cupboard?
>-- personally I was dismayed to find out first time trying that it was very bitter and tasted green, like grass or leaves.
Same as your first point. Refer to my rebuttal to point #1.

This is a bad thread. Go back to your kind in /sip/ threads
