Got a bottle of this from my boss for Christmas. It's got a great spicy-sweet note in the end. Amazing sipping whiskey.

Greetings /ck/,

I don't stop in here much, but I'm considering trying a bit of a variation on a theme I'm more comfortable with and I'm trying to see if I'm completely mad, or merely exploring new ground.

Traditionally, I slow cook damn near everything, including spiral cut ham. Typically this involves juice (usually pinapple) and brown sugar, resulting in a nice juicy ham, (often a bit sugary though).

But this year I'm considering attempting similar with Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey and actual honey. I haven't done much cooking with Jack, and haven't attempted it with a slow cooker before. Am I on a mad quest, doomed to failure, or might I be on to something interesting in my attempt at a different kind of flavor?
