I tried it twice, both times it was dry, severely lacking in flavor, and they wanted to charge me an outrageous price for guacamole, the only thing that could have made it into a passable meal. I will never understand why people like this shit. Especially when they live in southern California and good Mexican restaurants are around every corner.

most mexican food i'm ok with (although excessive jalapeños and other hot peppers can do me in)

but fucking chipotle. shit isnt even ethnic or spicy yet it turns my asshole into mount st. helens.

Does anyone else agree that Chipotle is the fast food of choice?

No grease, and if you do it right you can stay in the realm of healthy. Personally being a big guy, I get the burrito bowl which fits a lot of food (more than a burrito, pro tip), after I eat I don't feel greased out or weighted down like after say a Five Guys meal.

And please share your favorite setup. Yours truly:

Brown Rice
Black Beans
Fajitas
Steak
Medium salsa
A little bit of sour cream (I try to stress little)
Cheese
Lettuce
Half a bottle of Tabasco
If i'm hungry chips and salsa

Why are people obsessed with this place?
Whenever I open Yik Yak on my college campus there is always a yak about Chipotle.
Honestly, it is overpriced and isn't even that great.

What do you food guys think about this place?

Basically, I was in Texas for a bit and I went to a Freebird's a few times. I took a friend of mine there and he said Chipotle was way better after trying Freebird's once. He made some bullshit with white rice, cilantro, and steak with like no salsa or guacamole or refried beans or anything good.

I've gone to two different Chipotles now and the food is mediocre. For the price you pay you get half the size you could get from Freebird's, and the selection of ingredients is severely lacking. It's actually pathetic, I think they have like 8 ingredients for burritos.

It seems like Chipotle is to Freebird's as Subway is to Firehouse.

Why does /ck/ think this place is shit?

I haven't been to this place yet, and I am genuinely curious as to what you guys think of it. All my friends are acting like its a gift from God or some shit like that.
