You're greatly underestimating Coca-Cola's dominance of soda. They've always been #1 in sales even at their lowest point when they got desperate and released New Coke. Pepsi has never once surpassed them.
'Coca-Cola' is the second most recognized word in the world after 'OK' and the most purchased brand of any kind, soda or otherwise.

Easy access to Coca-Cola predates access to life or death needs like antimalarial drugs in the poorest regions of the world. And when they did get access to their life saving medical supplies it was delivered using the Coca-Cola distribution network.

Both Coca-Cola and Pepsi are extremely well known and available everywhere (meaning you can't use the "people just don't know any better" excuse), yet Coca-Cola has consistently outsold Pepsi by a comfortable margin, both temporally and spatially, throughout history and throughout the globe. So you're pretty retarded to say Pepsi is better, let alone so much better that it isn't debatable. Only slightly decent thing you can say about Pepsi is it tricks people into thinking it's good in a taste test by front-loading with sugar in a way that isn't preferred when it comes to drinking more than a single sip.
