I know someone who can handle it

Just got a cheap ass doublesided stone to see if I like sharpening and fuck yeah I do. It made my 10$ kiwi knives almost razor sharp without stropping or honing or anything. It took barely any time too. Why do people meme that sharpening takes an hour to do and sucks ass? It's really fucking relaxing, not time consuming at all and pretty much paid for itself in 1 day. I can't wait to get better technique and eventually buy better stones and knives but for now I'll stay practicing on these.
I unironically forgot what it was like to use a sharp knife and I couldn't believe how much easier it was to cook.
