Your jingoism is clouding an otherwise fascinating topic. Perhaps you enjoy chickens bloated with steroids and water solutions, but in the rest of the world, high quality fast food chicken is no laughing matter. McDonalds in the US actually honored the select label, and I think it should be appreciated. But by all means, you want to hold up your UDSA system as a pillar of great quality, enjoy being ignorant.
