from around 2012 to 2016 i used to work at one of these companies, making and planning these meals for our clients. We had every flavour of rich people; corpo executives, saudi businessman, top bodybuilders, movie producers and actors, tv personalities. They all loved the food and the "results" they were getting, despite their food was made by people who literally learned on the job. Eg.: I had multiple arguments with my coworker about chicken thighs having protein or not (as opposed to chicken breast). We 90% just eyeballed amounts for people who had specific requirements, like 1700 kcal x/y/z gramms of p/f/c, and it was fine.
What I want to say is that most of these companies are run on marketing buzzwords, and they send you overpriced garbage.
