Why do you people buy tea imported from China? Do you not realize they pretty much have no regulations for their crops? Farmers spray their teas with pesticides like there's no tomorrow. And I highly doubt they wash their tea after the harvest, it probably goes straight into the processing facilities.

You're literally drinking a cup of pesticides.

>What's wrong with GMO or Pesticides?

Must I explain why?

>Patented seeds by Monsanto corporation
>fuck farmers over because of patents crossing over to neighboring fields
>controlling food supply
>engineered seeds to contain pesticides which your body absorbs
>spray crops with pesticides which your body absorbs

Just because the FDA approves of something doesn't mean it's safe.

I also forgot to mention how many tea crops are sprayed with pesticides which aren't even washed off after the harvest. So all those chemicals are going straight into your cup when you drink it. Cancer.

and you are accusing someone defending the definition of usda organic from people who seek to disambiguate and downplay it, to be shills?

are you really serious?

I ask anyone new who comes to this thread and reads it from start to finish to decide for themselves who the really shills are.

The worst part about GMO food is the fact that the corporations PATENT their seeds which gives them absolute control over the food supply. It hurts my head knowing how morons are seriously defending Monsanto in this thread, it shocks me how people are unable to see how bad it'll become. Their goal is to own and control the entire food supply to gain more power and money... but when this is influencing our food and nature.... that's when seriously problems occur.

Their goal is to essentially patent every god damn plant they can modify. The really BIG issue is how much lobbying they do so sway politicians to give Monsanto even more power, someday they may try to ban all organic seeds because it conflicts with their interests.
