I've been using it since march. I like it. Even with a nice fellow pouring kettle, there's way less cloudiness in the brew bed. Its supposed to keep your kettle from shooting fines through your filter, but controlling your agitation comes along with that. Without adjusting my grind, it took a hazelnutty brazilian I couldn't stand and turned it into something palatable. I'd imagine it pairs great with cheaper grinders since my kinu does produce a bit more fines than optimal at pourover coarseness.
