I got a bunch of mushrooms as part of my "fill up a shopping bag with nearly-spoiled shit for $3" and tried to spice up my usual cup of plain shiro miso. In it I chopped spring onions and put a bit of black pepper because I like my nose to run, but it still seems like its lacking that zang.

Or am I too accustomed to MSG
