Does a "grilled cheese sandwich" stop being one when you start adding things to it like bacon or ham? My friend was saying that once you start adding things into your grill cheese it becomes just another sandwich. I for one disagree because although i like it the traditional way i also like a bit of variety by adding some things so that i don't get bored. Thoughts?

I can easily fit a 64oz water bottle in my purse so I could probably fit a small mug of soup and half a dozen grilled cheese sandwiches if I wanted.
Though I miss my old purse where I could fit a 12" sub sandwich in there.
