>containers and utensils
You fucking retard.
Microplastics at large come from friction based sources such as worn polyester or car tyres. The dust washes into the ocean, goes up the food chain, and ends up in everything. The average concentration keeps going up. We're not gonna have any major problems because of it, but if there wasn't an impending global collapse, people would be deformed mutants in a few hundred years when the concentrations start being high enough to really fuck your anatomy.

>cook rice
>take note of how much water you used
>next time, use the same pan and the same rice, just add or remove a little water
>figure out exactly how much is "perfect" for you in a few days or weeks, or even months depending on how often you cook rice
If you don't cook rice often enough to figure it out on your own, you don't cook rice often enough to care about this shit this much, or you're just retarded.

>Went to the dentist today for a routine cleaning.
>Dental assistant who does 99% of the associated work is very familiar with much of my family.
>Small talk, asks about what I've been doing since six months past.
>Mention interest in tea, and that I've been especially interested in some white teas.
>"Oh yeah, I really like my pomegranate tea from [Local Store]."
Every time, lads. I know I shouldn't expect most people to just drink plain whole tea leaf, much less blended shit, but it still sucks knowing that bagged teas take up the majority of every associated aisle in non-Asian stores. I got one guy I know into loose leaf instead of bagged, though he keeps drinking exclusively iced keemun for some reason, and adds sugar. Another drinks mostly flavored bags, but stopped using sugar recently, so I guess it's improving. My mother is into bagged teas, but seems open to loose if she can get an easy gaiwan or something not completely shit and portable. I don't know, I just want the people around me who seem interested in tea to enjoy it at its best.

To clarify, this is not from a point of elitism, but rather just interest in sharing a better experience with individuals I associate with. I don't know how to introduce it to people who I have limited physical contact with. There are many who would probably open to it if they could provide an easier introduction. Troublesome.

I don't keep a stash of alcohol. Whatever I purchase I drink completely, or at least as much as I can before I pass out. I can't help myself because I'm a faggot alcoholic.

>old ass people acting surprised they have to pay after the cashier has scanned all the items, and then start to look for their goddamn wallet
>when they finally find their wallet, they start looking for a specific bill "I just know I put it in here somehwere" while 6 people just blankly stare at them

you'd think some old raisin would understand the grocery shopping procedure by now, but nope.

>oh sorry, can't find my card, can you bag and store these 150+ items?
you literally need one thing with you to shop, and that is money. It's not a hard concept.

>denied? Oh I better transfer some munnay here while people are waiting on me!
how about transferring money WHILE you're standing in line the next time, if you're such a faggot bitch you're too afraid to have $300 on your debit card at once

>that middleaged man that refuses to put down a divider yet gets angry when the cashier scans the next customer's items on his receipt
what the fuck did you think would happen you stupid fucking boomer?

Man, working in a supermarket still gives me flashbacks, and I left that hellscape 5 years ago

>thinks english is diffucult for the maority of the civilized world which belongs to the same language family
And still english is one of the most easiest ones, due to very few tempus and easy systems of conjugating. This i a fact. The only difficult thing is the pronounciation, which is non-intitiv.

>due to the far reach of the British Empire
>can't understand the phrase "one of"

>It is possible to try giving a strictly linguistic explanation; it could be that English is a simple language which is relatively easy to pick up. English has no noun genders, no complicated morphology, no tone system, it is written in the Roman alphabet which is pretty good at accurately mapping sounds to symbols, and the prevalence of English-language films, TV, and music makes it readily accessible and easy to practise. However, English also has an extensive vocabulary, a highly inconsistent spelling system, many irregular verbs, some problematic sounds such as "th", and a large inventory of vowels which can make it difficult for non-native speakers to tell words apart. Arguments about which languages are easy or difficult to learn are ultimately circular, as the perception of what is easy and what is difficult to learn depends on the person doing the learning.

Wouldnt even happen in the first place, ever. Theres no such thing as "the world go vegan" There will always be people eating meat for a start, and for second it isnt even feasible. Not all land can have crops grown on it, It would cause massive deforestation for more fertile land you can grow crops on. Assuming that removing all animals would make it possible to use that land for crops is asinine and the true mark of an idealistic retard who isnt dealing in reality but virtue signals and has no idea what they are talking about. Eating crops isnt even animal cruelty free in the same way that eating livestock is, farmers humanly kill livestock. When it comes to crops, especially organic, They have to be on the case for killing rodents, birds, insects etc, etc, with traps and poisons, anything that would eat the crops and cause a yield already lower than it already is gets killed.

30 days sober.

shooting for 90.

an alcohol related court case has coerced me into not drinking for a while. AA meetings are boring but manageable. the free coffee is nice. half of the people in AA show up for a few days and then you never see them again, the other half are people who fucked up their lives so horribly when they were younger that they never even want to look at a bottle. I play a candy crush ripoff on my smart phone almost constantly, whether it's on the bus (because I can't drive of course) or in the meetings.

While I still hate every moment of existence, at least I don't feel like an old man every time I move and I can think sightly more clearly. Waking up in the morning is still terrible though, as I am constantly dehydrated and it takes me a couple hours to be able to shit.

part of me just wants to get drunk all day and fuck off, but the other part of me feels like I need to be punished for just existing. As if enduring this monotony is slightly miserable, and I have the wisdom and experience to know that I'm not going to see any rewards from it. Like reorganizing all of your files just to make things more confusing and hard to find. I really miss having a burger and a beer in pub, man.
