Every so often I check the prices of expensive wines out of curiosity (I've never had Chateau d'Yquem but I would like to) and it appears that bottles that used to cost $1000+ are about $500-700 now. Can anyone else confirm? Is the economy really bad and rich people don't want to spend exorbitant sums on wine anymore?
