Slice like pic related, place in preheated skillet with some butter and a splash of water.
Cook on medium for 6-8 minutes on either side, or until they are tender enough for a fork to pierce.
If you are feeling sassy, finish with a little butter and brown sugar on top.

My tea:
>boil water
>pour boiling water into 1L mug halfway
>put in teabag
>steep teabag for 10 seconds
>jerk it arou d until water becomes dark
>throw away teabag
>fill mug to the brim with room temperature water
>squeeze half of a lemon into mug
>2 heaping teaspoons of sugar
>stir
>enjoy
