Yeah I agree. I only use my cast iron if I need to quickly sear something. Scanpan nonstick is used for eggs and SS for everything else. I have a family member that works at williams-sonoma so I get a lot of these pans for free. If I was poor I'd probably use cast iron more.

>buy costco salmon and cook it for dinner
>bring left overs to work the next day and reheat it in microwave
>no gross smell at all
>co-workers bring in salmon and microwave it
>smells like cat food and low tide
>people start leaving the room

Why? Are they cooking it spoiled to begin with? Or just eating left overs a week later? Frozen salmon? They don't know why and just apologize for the smell and keep eating.
