Your usual supermarket meat animal spends his entire life wallowing in his own shit and piss. At the moment of dead he's probably just as filthy on the outside as he is on the inside of his intestines. If you feel that chickenskins and pork scratchings are safe eat you shouldn't be so squeamish about intestines.
How about sausages, you eat those? Natural casings?

Pigsguts. About a dollar per meter, which is an outrage.
They come preserved with salt. Rinse them inside and out.
