What's Jewish cuisine like? I literally know nothing about it besides hearing the names of some foods, like matza bread and gefilte fish, in American movies and TV shows. Is some of their stuff worth trying out? Anything easy to make that I can start with that would make a good impression? I'm South American, there are no Jewish restaurants anywhere near me, so I'd have to whip something up myself?
