I THINK that it's just a bit of a culture shock for people that things they regard as subtleties of their cuisine get disregarded in their adaptations overseas. I know it sounds somewhat autistic but I guess it feels like someone made a nice goulash and someone else just throws mayonnaise in it. Or how people from certain places in the US get really mad when you put ketchup on a hotdog or something. I don't really care either way, you do you.
