Little Caesar's is the most cost effective pizza there is now, their prices are insanely low compared to the competition. But there is one glaring flaw with their pizza, the crust. There's roughly a solid inch of crust around the circumfrence of the pizza, and it's just plain doughy crust with nothing on it to make it flavorful or enjoyable to eat. Why the fuck don't they just brush it with olive oil and put some parmesean or roma seasoning on it? Super easy to do and it would cost next to nothing but it would immensely improve their pizza and attract more customers.

Having eaten at many different Little C's locations, I can tell you that the quality is very inconsistent, sometimes even from one shift to the next. It's not like any other fast food where you pretty much are getting a frozen thing shipped from a central manufacturing plant and reheated in some automatic fry-o-lator. People are actually making pizzas.

Take the two stores closest to me. One is clean, the employees are friendly. The other is a hole in the wall and everyone there is a miserable sack of shit. Every pizza from the clean store has been borderline inedible, but 90% of the pizzas from the shithole are fucking amazing--like top 5% of all pizza I've ever eaten, and I've eaten at many high-end, highly regarded pizza places.

Even the ingredients being "cheap" is a meme. The ingredients for basic pizza are inexpensive. Only when you start going for exotic imported tomatoes, cheese etc are you going to spend more than a couple of dollars given the economies of scale that LC's enjoys (they have over 5000 locations).

So in the end, there's probably little point to arguing about whether LC's is "good". If you're fortunate enough to have a competent staff at your local store, then enjoy it.

I really can't understand the Papa Murphy's meme. But everyone who's been there says it's great.

For me, it's Little Caesar's. Cheaper than Papa Murphy's and it's already cooked. My local 'le 'sar's has horrible service and the store looks like the inside of a bum's asshole, but they know how to make a pizza. The store down the road churns out overcooked dogshit so maybe that's the norm and why people tend toward the Papa Murphy's camp.

I eat at least one LC's H&R every week. I have yet to find a fast food place that gives you as many calories per $, at a reasonable level of taste considering. I actually haven't bought 'za from anywhere but LC's in at least a year.

The LC's nearest me actually makes good 'za. The store looks like a shithole and most of the people who work there are the dregs of society, but they make the best H&Rs I've ever had.

No joke, for me it's the Little Caesars Hot n Ready. $5 for 2000kcal and the store nearest me actually makes good za.
