Hey /ck/

I work at an aquarium and we often have unfertilized swell shark and horn shark eggs in our tide pool exhibit to show guests and I'm often asked if you can eat shark eggs.

Today I finally looked it up and it seems that you can, but I haven't found any firsthand information or recipes. We have unfertilized eggs in abundance so I think I'm going to take one of each species home and try it. Has anyone eaten a shark egg? How should I prepare them? Its just yolk and seawater inside, no egg whites.
