I bought a second hand Gaggia Classic today, looks like the group head has a lot of scale underneath the group screen. Group gasket doesn't look terrible though?
I plan to try and descale (and maybe 0000 steel wool) and clean up all of this tomorrow and descale the boiler insides. I can only assume it's just as bad inside of it.

Is this salvagable, I haven't attempted to do something like this before. I have seen group head replacement kits you can buy but I am on a budget.

Thoughts? Possible?
