After the onions have turned translucent add the rest of the ingredients. Just dump it all in the pot.
I added two seasonings you can see in this pic. On the left is a heaping tablespoon of smoked hot Spanish paprika. On the right is about 1 tb of fresh ground cumin. Bring to a simmer.

Dump everything else in the pot after the onions are sweated down. The two dry spices you see here are smoked paprika and cumin.

When the onions are translucent then everything else goes in the pot. You will see some dry spices here--that's smoked spanish paprika on the left and fresh ground cumin on the right.

Normally I wouldn't use the paprika, but I didn't have any chipotle peppers on hand so I'm subbing the paprika for that smoky taste.

Now it's time for long, slow, simmering.

Surely you are smart enough to realize that you can modify the recipe to suit your preferances, right trollio? If you want beans then add beans.

You posted a mallard. I'm talking about the Malliard chemical reaction. Google it.

Everything else goes in the pot now. The dry spices you see are smoked paprika on the left and cumin on the right.

When the onions are translucent then add everything else. There are some dry spices too. Smoked paprika on the left, cumin on the right.

Yeah, both are horrible beverages, but they work perfectly here. You don't want a strong tasting beer or it will dominate the flavor of the peppers.

When the onions have sweated down and are turning translucent then add everything else to the pot: the diced steaks, the pepper/beer from the blender, another beer or two, and a few cans of vegetable juice (or more beer, or beef stock, or tomato juice...basically anything but water)

The dry spices you see in this photo are smoked hot paprika on the left, and freshly ground cumin on the right. This photo is right after dumping it in the pot.
