Save for the part of having to cut out an animals anus and pull its intestines out to avoid it spoiling inside skinning and butchering is quite peaceful and relaxing. Worse if you're hunting and you gut shot the animal. Makes an absolute smelly mess inside and in the case of deer they can easily survive it if you can't get another better shot off in time.
