The chain is reportedly selling bags of the crispy fried chicken skins as part of a trial. Select locations across Indonesia (this isn't a U.S. thing) are adding the salt and pepper seasoned skin to menus, and people are HERE. FOR. IT.

"In Indonesia KFC is now selling chicken skin and honestly I can not think of a greater victory for human kind," one fan tweeted. Another commented: "KFC INDONESIA RELEASED THE CHICKEN SKIN ONLY????? TAKE MY MONEY NOWWWWW." The all caps says it all—passion.

Now I'm the first to admit, it looks good. I mean, what fried food doesn't? But I just feel really strongly that we need to stop dissecting the food. Why can't we just go back to eating chicken the normal way? Those were simpler times.

People are begging for it in other countries, too.

"I don't ask for much in life except this PLEASE OFFER FLAVOURED CHICKEN SKINS AS A SIDE ORDER FOR THE UK thank you," one user wrote. "I beg this comes to the UK please," another added.

According to a customer who reviewed the chicken skins on Twitter, "It tastes spicy savory ... It's different to what you'd expect as it's not the same as normal chicken skin, but the first bite is good. It's really crisp and crunch!"

Am I totally in the wrong here???
