If you grew up in the 90s/early 00s you'll remember Taco Bell used to have kid's meals with toy promotions just like some other fast food places, some of these are pretty memorable to me

One time me and my friend went to a Taco Bell drunk late at night, we were very drunk. The girl at the counter as we procured our food before we took it to the table said "ok guys just don't make a mess okay"

I didn't think anything of this, but my friend got a weird look on his face with a shit eating grin and was like "huh...can you believe she said that? what does she think we are gonna do?". So then I jokingly implied we should just squirt fire sauce all over the table, and my friend was on board, so we did that, we squirted fire sauce all over the place and as we walked out yelled "WE'RE THE FIRE SAUCE CLIQUE"

Why did Taco Bell stop serving kid's meals?

Taco Bell Kid's Meals were a product launched in 1996. The menu was designed for Taco Bell's younger audience, and lasted 17 years before being discontinued in 2013.

Taco Bell introduced kid's meals in 1996. It consisted of a taco, chips, Cinnamon Twists, a drink, and a toy.

Taco Bell helped spread the word of new kids meals with their Kid's Meal Mascots, Nacho and Dog, which were introduced in 1996 as well. They both are addicted to tacos as mentioned in a commercial called "Batman." The mascots were scrapped in 1997, and Taco Bell had to find a new way to promote kid's meals. In 2009, Taco Bell removed chips from the kid's meal menu, citing health concerns.

In 2013, after declining sales, Taco Bell discontinued the kid's meal. The decision also cited concerns with childhood obesity and nutrition. With this, Taco Bell became the first mainstream fast food restaurant in the United States to discontinue the Kid's Meal.


How could it have gone away anons? I always wanted the Taco Bell kids meal as a kid, did kids begin to hate Tacos? I always wanted Taco, Happy Meal, or BK Kids Club only when they had good toys
