vegan recipe threads make sense here, vegan nutrition threads arguably makes sense here, but non-human animal rights threads don't make sense here imo.

I'm a vegetarian, and all of my experiences with vegans have been awful. They go around to people who eat meat and tell them how wrong they are to eat it and how they're so superior for eating plants all day, then they get up in MY face because I eat eggs, honey, and milk and tell me how disgusting I am and how I should be ashamed of myself, then masturbate their egos by describing how glorious it is to be vegan.

I don't give a fuck what you eat. Eat meat? Great! Vegetarian? Sure thing! Vegan? OK! I'm a vegetarian for my own reasons, and I don't expect the whole world to bend over backwards for me. I just hate self-righteous pricks who go around telling other people how to live their own lives. For whatever reason, a lot of vegans are like this.
