OP, I cant cook for shit either. Peep this.
Make a meal that you are confident you can do that will taste good. have multipul ez dishes like salad and a appitizer and an entre. whatever you think you can do and not fuck up. Pasta or fish or whatever.
Heres the kicker:
Go big on dessert. Dessert is easy to make and you can get real fancy with it and its ez to do. I got really good at these. Its not hard just make sure the chocolate isnt to hot or it will pop the ballon. Other things are like fancy cheese cakes and shit where its just mix shit let it sit and decorate. Desserts are cool as fuck and a lot harder to fuck up than main courses.

I saved a lot of very old ones a while back. I will dump them.
